Check-in with Archangel Raphael | A Tarot Reading

A King Palm between my fingers, I relax and connect to Spirit. Tonight is magical. 

I close my eyes and see vibrant colors. Purple, blue, yellow. I’m not sure if I see green first or if I call to Archangel Raphael first but I see green and I’m positive I sense his energy. I start shuffling my cards, getting chills up and down my arms, a clear sign that I’m connecting.

Shuffling. Shuffling. Shuffling. 

Out pops a card. Hello, Hierophant. Is it you, Raphael? Letting me know for reassurance, the your here with me to answer any questions that I may have. Because you see, I really want to know where I am on this road to healing that we're on together. I petitioned to your weeks ago. I saw you in my meditation, fly out of the sky towards me as I sat inside a cave full of crystals, with your green wings and aura. Consistently, I've received downloads and signs you’re working within me. One right after the other. Finally finding the emotional healing that I need in order to detach myself from the mountains of baggage that I hold on to.

Shuffle. Shuffle. Shuffle. Strength.

Passion, courage, force, aggression, desire. But also a calm loving presence.

Continue learning to take your aggression, frustration, passion and turning it into inner strength. How are you using the fire inside you, Kaitlyn? Where are you placing your energy? Learn to hone in your energy and utilize it for the better. Calm yourself in times of frustration.

How?

Breathe. Close your eyes and get in tune with your body. Where is your pent up frustration lingering in the body? Are your eyes closed? Tap into that energy. Now flip it. For the better. For you. Courage.

Oh, to summarize how I'm doing here! The Star. A card of... healing.

Not just any healing. Emotional healing. You see, the star card presents a woman surrounding by water, symbolic of the intuition and emotions. She's nourishing the Earth, giving back to it for all its done for her. She has one foot in the water; one on solid ground. She's in tune with her intuition, being able to tap into it at a moments notice, consulting with it. But that one foot on solid ground... thats common sense, your logic.

She's centered, emotionally, or at least getting herself there. She pours water out on the Earth, with 5 rivets of water going in different directions, representing the 5 senses, again showing that while you are grounded and building stability in logic, you are also in tune with your intuition. Constantly tuned in to your emotional state. 

Card number 17 of the Major Arcana. 5 cards away from achieving The World - completion. Ase. 

I pick up the Work Your Light Oracle deck and spread it out in front of me. Close my eyes and gently touch each card till I feel electricity in my fingers. Gotcha! Share Your Voice. I want one more Raphael. Just one, I won't be greedy. Sisterhood of the Rose.

Why aren't you sharing your voice Kaitlyn? There are people out there who will resonate with what you have to say. You just have to say it. Why aren't your using the voice and the stories and the experiences we've given you to share it with the world. No one else has your story. Speak of it.

Okay Spirit. I guess I'll share this reading with the world when I'm done. I've been wanting to share more authenticity to the blog.

And don't forget to look for the beauty in the world. You keep saying you're going to go for a hike and then you crawl into bed. Mother Gaia is waiting for you. Soak it all in but don't forget to contribute to the world as well.

Even with something as small as flowers, dressing like a Class A HBIC. See beauty, feel beauty, be beauty. Be love. The Rose symbolized the heart and the sacred geometry of all life.

Five of Swords. Jesus. Can you be any more on point Kaitlyn.

You're feeling defeated. Tired. Out of fight. You've had enough. Enough heartbreak, too many decisions. You thought you had rested and given yourself the time you needed but you went back into battle to find that no one has your back right now. Thats rough. It sucks. 

Shuffle. Shuffle. Shuffle. Boom! Lets stay in the family (suite). King of Swords.

This is all mental. Swords is all about the mind. But the King of Swords, he's achieved mental clarity. If anyone is sure of themselves, their beliefs, their values, its the King of Swords. Ask him anything. He knows and he won't waver.

Behind him, engraved on his throne are butterflies, the epitome of transformation and growth. His sword is double-edged suggested that he is aware of the advantages and disadvantages of his values and beliefs. 

Shuffle. Shuffle. Shuffle. Two cards pop. Lets hold these to the side and continue with the Five of Swords and the King of Swords.

You feel defeated now, but thats only because your are unsure of yourself. Unsure of where you want to go. What you want to do. Which road to take. And that is okay, because time and time again, Spirit calls you to rest yourself.

Let this be a time of reflection and inner searching. Figure out who you are and who you want to be. Then it will be crystal clear for you.

Keep shuffling. I'm tuned in and I can tell we're not done yet. 

Queen of Swords. Temperance. Knight of Cups. Ace of Cups. The Magician. Alright, I here you Spirit.

Shuffle. Shuffle. Shuffle. Five of Pentacles. Poverty. Hard Times. Struggles. Financial Stress. Well ain't that the truth.  

Be clear in your communication, straightforward.  You're roughing it out right now but you need to learn how to turn lemons into lemonade. 

The Knight of cups moves slowly. But with his cup of creation and all that empty barren land, he has the ability, from the power of his emotional side and imagination, to create a whole new life for himself. 

Well I don't want a new life, but I'd like to improve on the life I'm living now. I'm just in a shitty space right now. I'm not in control at the moment. 

Then ask for help. I've given you: Temperance. The Hierophant. The Magician. 

Shit. All I have to do is ask for help. The magician has everything he needs to manifest. He uses all the elements, draws from the material realm and the spiritual for guidance and resources. Just like the Strength card, its apparent that I have access to unlimited potential. Do I believe in myself? I do. The Ace of Cups signals to new beginnings. A new love perhaps? New creative project? The lotus flower remind me that there is beauty from pain. The lotus flower grows from the muck and transforms into pure heart center energy. A heart healing flower. Everything I've been asking for will manifest soon.

I start to pray. I tell Spirit I'm ready.

Oh shit, those two cards! Three of Pentacles and Death.

Ready to let go of your fear to community? Ready to let go of your fear to the pain you've endured by your social anxiety?

Many don't know, but I've struggled with social anxiety since I started on my spiritual journey. As you become more and more aware of yourself, sometime you tend to shelter yourself more. Dead that. You want your blessings. You need community... teamwork.

One more card. I'm spent. Aboriginal Spirit Oracle Deck to top off this reading. Truth. Mfn truth. Earlier in the day I shared my voice. I shared my perspective with my best friend. Understand this....

Lots of my emotional healing thus far has come from the fact that I now understand we are all part of the same being. God. It. Universe. Whatever you choose. We ultimately are all living a reality of our own. Our own narrative, our own truth. Now that I understand this to be true, I can look at others different, without judgement, see their flaws and try to move past it. Its truly been transformational. And this closing card is solidifying.
