5 MONTH ATLANTA-BASED HERBALISM INTENSIVE*
MARCH - AUGUST

Now, more than ever, herbalists are needed to provide effective, holistic healthcare to our families, friends, and communities. This program gives you a solid introduction to the art of herbal healing. By the end of the program, you will have your own materia medica with an understanding of 40 herbs that treat common health conditions, and will know how to make herbal medicines in your own kitchen, and so much more!

The curriculum consists of 200 hours of lectures, discussions, interactive learning exercises, and medicine-making demonstrations taught by Kaitlyn, of Rose & Ritual Apothecary.

WHAT YOU'LL GAIN:
  • A materia medica covering the medicinal uses of 40+ herbs

  • How to make herbal preparations and formulas for everyday health problems

  • Herbs for specific body systems (cardiovascular, nervous, etc.)

ABOUT YOUR INSTRUCTOR
IMG_0127+2.jpg

Hi, I'm Kaitlyn. I'm an integrative wellness leader, an herbalist, intuitive and Reiki Master. I'm the founder of Rose & Ritual Apothecary and Wellness Academy, which trains reiki practitioners, and RitualHaus which offers creative services for others in wellness, home & living, and travel & leisure.

My aim is to offer integrative wellness -- emotional, mental, physical and spiritual wellbeing -- to the communities who need it most, by offering herbal preparations, spiritual tools and reiki healing at low-to-no cost to underserved communities. I want to support other healers and practitioners in applying integrative wellness to their communities in impactful ways! I'm interested in decolonizing wellness, bridging the gap between alternative healing modalities and the black community. Rose & Ritual Apothecary and Wellness Academy trainings will honor the lineages of where many wellness practices come from, learn the science behind each modality, and have the uncomfortable conversations around the colonization of health and wellness.

My background is in marketing and communications, having worked in industries like: luxury travel, energy, market research, nonprofit, and affiliate marketing. I graduated with a B.S. in Advertising & Promotional Communications and a M.A., Urban Studies in Community Development. My mission is to support my community with integrative wellness practices and holistic modalities, implementing low-cost offerings and programs to help close the wellness accessibility gap.
